Was driving back from a disappointing sunset and got into the neighborhood, and just happened to see all of these ladies standing around out there, so had to make a short circle and got in a place to park. Was able to sneak back a little ways to them and then they saw me. Surprised that they didn't immediately take off, but they actually stood there watching me. Got my shots and then they took off. At least it wasn't a white flag retreat, but a very relaxed and slow trot back into the woods.
