This castle has featured many times in my project but this is the first time I have visited in 20 years! I was fortunate it was fairly quiet when I took this shot from the drive leading up to this picturesque castle.
@roachling That one is Burley House not to be confused with Burghley House! We have a few this one is actually near Grantham but is in Leicestershire and is home to the Duke and Duchess of Rutland! Confused....?
@phil_sandford Thanks Phil. It's quite a climb to the top but my wife has a disability so we were allowed to drive to the top. The gardens are magnificent but do take a bit of effort to get round.

Well worth visiting. We joined Historic houses last year it covers a lot of local places like Burghley, Rockingham, Belvoir and Grimsthorpe well worth the for us
