Mosquito?

Not sure what insect this is as it seemed too big for a mosquito its about 12mm 1/2" long. But it made a nice shot sat on a steel gate in the light of the setting sun.

It's glowing! Almost looks like how the movies would depict a radioactive mosquito. Great shot!
