A quick stop off today at Thetford forest on my way back from visiting a client. It thankfully stopped raining after nearly 2 full days.

Brings back memories for my husband I am sure. They used to have military exercises in Thetford forest when he was on Officer training in the RAF

There are still ranges in the forest plus the USA bases of Mildenhall and Lakenheath near by. Most of the time I was there, there were fighter jets flying over making a lot of noise not that I minded it's to quiet in Rutland these days.
