I was seriously lacking inspiration today, feeling sad that it's back to school tomorrow! This evening I was wondering what I'd be able to find for a photograph when a wood pigeon landed in the garden and I thought that would follow on nicely from the egg yesterday. I turned around to get the camera and saw another approaching.
There was a sort of pigeon stand off and they stayed like this for about five minutes until I moved and scared them both away. It was weird, they just started at each other, I've never seen two pigeons stay still for so long. Dave said it looked like I'd stuffed and posed them!
I had trouble with focusing through the glass so I'm not totally happy with this but I can't be bothered to go looking for something else!
