Spring has finally arrived this week. There is warmth in the air, blue sky and fluffy clouds (let's not mention the horrible winds that have also arrived - at least they're not bitterly cold winds!).
Today I passed the other skills test I had to take, the numeracy test, which was the final hurdle for me to jump. I wouldn't have been allowed to do the teacher training course if I hadn't passed the skills tests before the end of May so now I'm all done and ready to go.
When I got home from that, I found out that my student loan application has been approved and they've awarded me the amounts I requested, so now I also know that I can afford to be unemployed for the year while I train and will have enough to live on (it's just a shame I have to pay it all back when I'm qualified, hehe!)
