I think this is what you call a diary shot... today I was paid for the last time - this is my last payslip. My employment officially ends on 31st August, after 11 years at the school I once went to. From 1st September I'm a student again, back to uni and living off a student loan!

Thank you both. I will be doing a school based PGCE (4 days in school, 1 day in uni each week) to complete my teacher training at last. It took 3 application attempts - 3 years - to get a place on the course as it is at least 10 applicants for one place every year!
How fantastic to get onto the course you wanted and good for you in keeping determined to get there! It will got by and you will be qualified before you know it. Very exciting, a bit scary but will be amazing!! Wish you all the best with it Louise, hope it is everything you hope it to be. (Love the mug!!! Great shot) Let us know how you get on!!

Thank you! I'm not looking forward to the work load - full days teaching plus all teachers paperwork with masters level coursework on top, but I know the year will go fast and the deadline for all work is the end of June, so it's actually only 10 months away! I'm dreading it, but can't wait to get started at the same time!
