This baby hare was just sitting here as I approached. I was driving along and knew I wouldn't be able to get much closer before it disappeared, so I took this from the car. A pheasant walked out of the hedge a little lower down so I almost got a shot like this one - http://365project.org/roachling/365/2013-08-08 - of a nicely lined up hare and pheasant, but I'd just turned on the camera and didn't have time to aim and focus before the pheasant had gone.
@dh I see hares on this lane all the time. It' surrounded by fields for miles around and it's very quiet here so they can hang around on the lane uninterrupted a lot of the time!
