Tawny Owl by roachling

Tawny Owl

I didn't fancy driving anywhere today so we stayed local and had a more leisurely day. This afternoon we visited Burnby Hall Gardens, just because it's literally a two minute walk from the chapel where we're staying at the moment. There, I saw a tawny owl above me in a tree! I waited for a family who were walking towards me so that I could point it out for them too; they were very pleased and the children took photos of it on Grandma's phone.

I also ate both breakfast and dinner outdoors today and spent some time sitting out in the chapel 'garden' reading.

Oh what a treat. I have one that regularly visits my garden but only when it's dark. Great image Louise. Hope your well deserved break was restorative. I'm just in the process of moving - it is exhausting!
