Iced over

Walked 4 miles this afternoon and stopped by a local pond and it's still icy, it's been frozen all week (only thin ice though).

Just read today's poem in one of yearly reads and it matched my photo! The third verse reads

On a winter's day
The lake
Hides itself
Under a frozen blanket
And refuses to budge
Until it is warm enough
To come out again.
