.....I do consider myself to be a spiritual person and wanted to share this with my 365 family, especially those of you who followed the story of my neighbor, his air compressor, and the nest of robins.
Dan has been diagnosed with multiple stage 4 cancers and has been given 6 months, at most, to live. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

carold and Al,
Thanks. The 6 months has changed to 2 weeks. Seems hard to believe. I've been down that road before, and after all is said and done, fast can be better than slow, but it's a shock to the family none-the-less. I'm glad I was able to share with you all a bit of his goodness as revealed in the "Robin Chronicles" and even more glad to be able to share with him all of your wonderful comments!
Oh Rob....so sad. Went down that road with my Dad....was such a shock out of nowhere! Glad he was able to see your chronicles. Best wishes to him and his family. God's strength to them.

Thanks, Tara,
Those 6 months weren't to be his. He died last Sat. morning. It's never easy, but sometimes fast is better than slow. Thanks to you, to everyone, for your thoughts and prayers. Greatly appreciated.
@rob257 Sorry Rob, I missed your earlier post . . . I'm sorry for your loss and will keep you and his family in my prayers for comfort. Yes, sometimes fast is better than slow. My own mother was diagnosed with cancer after being ill about 3 weeks. This was on a Wednesday, she died the next Monday . . . about 20 years ago! Hard to believe.
@tara11
Thanks for sharing that Tara. Somethings time just can't destroy. It is wonderful how our parents and other we love never really leave us. Scant comfort at the time, but a wonderful blessing as we continue down the road.
@rob257 Yes, the memories and times shared are the blessings; which I'm trying real hard to remember daily - being present in the moment. Peace to you.
