Recycling Discarded Fishing Line by rob257

Recycling Discarded Fishing Line

This is the first recycling tube that we installed at The Basin yesterday in preparation for the coming ice fishing season. I first saw these tubes at the aquarium in Tampa, FL. Our local water district purchased the materials and I made a dozen tubes.
Hopefully they won't be ignored or vandalized. Hoping they'll actually make a difference in reducing the amount of discarded fishing line that can be deadly to birds, fish and other wildlife.
Thanks for doing your part! I hope people will use it, too!

Thank you Lyn(n)s! Took a while to get it all together; locating a source of the stickers, etc. Now it's time to find out; do they get ignored? Used properly? or vandalized?
