I never would have thought that these big birds could use their web feet to hang on to a narrow rope line. When I first saw him he was facing in the other direction. I turned my back for a few seconds and when I turned around he was staring at me. Wish I'd seen how he made the switch!
Rob: thanks so much for the comments. The St. Louis Butterfly House was an incredible place with all kinds of subjects to shoot. I can only be thankful that I got a Canon 7D with its 1.6 sensor magnification and the 70-200mm f/2.8 L that gives 320mm macros with the 7D on some of those butterfly photos.
