More Turtles

Can't help but wondering how many turtles this little pond holds. On a sunny day there are easily 100 in view. Just one of my favorite critters.

We were out running by the lake today and as we ran by I noticed a teeny tiny baby turtle on the sidewalk. Like dollar coin size or maybe 50 cent piece. I was so glad that we missed running over it. My friend picked it up and put it close to the water. Poor buddy. These guys are cool!

@mandyj92 @amandal Thanks for your comments. I've seen silver dollar sized snapping turtles but interestingly enough, never a small painted.
