Last winter a large ash tree came down in our back woods and today was the day to start turning it into firewood. Somehow this spider survived the chain saw; being thrown into my small tractor pulled cart; and riding back up the hill to our house. When I first spotted him I almost forgot that I had my new "point and shoot" belted to my hip for just such an impromptu occasion.
