Something Growing in the Pond

O.K. folks, this is a little more than unusual.
Nothing special in the pic, just a chance to say "Hi" and ask for a little help. Is anyone else shooting with a Canon SX50hs? Been living in the manual (page 126) but darned if I can crack the "macro code". Must be missing something real simple. Anyone??? .-)

The answer came from a friend in the U.K. Have to go to "P" mode to access macro option, then back to A, V, Auto, or whatever. Hope to be sending some decent work along soon.
