The son of an entomologist should probably know this one.

I have no idea what this critter is, let alone what it's destined to become. Anyone?
He is most definitely an interesting looking critter - love those two antenna - neat find.

Awesome creature. I just did some quick research...it appears to be some kind of Tussock Moth caterpillar. They are the only ones in my caterpillar guide that have those tufts of hair that stick out.

I agree with Anne @annepann. At a young stage, when the brushes are growing, they are lighter in colour. Very interesting picture. Thanks for sharing. Fav.
