If you're wondering... according to dubaitravelguide.info, the world's tallest, at a cost of $374 million CND is the Ain Dubai (The Dubai Eye) at 688 feet and is in (you guessed it) Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
Some websites have it as tall as 820 feet, so I plan to bring my tape measure when I visit to confirm.
It officially dethroned the previous record holder, the 550 foot High Roller (not to be confused with the 5'4 High Roller who will remain nameless) in Las Vegas, Nevada, which opened in March 2014.
