A postponed dinner for a friend's birthday, starting with smoked chicken & smoked duck salad. Then a blast from the past: steak, kidney & mushroom steamed pudding, by special request, served with peas & leeks and parsley mashed potatoes and - of course - extra gravy. 😄 Back to short commons tomorrow!
