Oyster catcher by rosiekind

Oyster catcher

To my knowledge I have never seen one of these birds either. They have a long orange beak which really makes them stand out. This oyster catcher was fishing across the other side of the creek. We sat and watched him in a sheltered spot and it was really hot away from the breeze. Lovely. I always love going to Norfolk as it just seems to have a lovely atmosphere and we always meet really nice English people. Our friend Pam had a book signing today as she has written a book of prose and poems depicting the beginning of her life and her life over the past few years. She is going to write another one about the middle period of her life as she has been married for 65 years! Some going! She is a Royal Academy artist and now has achieved publication of a book. She is so inspiring and she's 84 years old but she doesn't seem that old at all. She's brilliant
Love the colours of this bird. Great capture
