I was delighted when I looked out of my window this morning to see that the Quackers are back! For anyone who has been following me for at least a year, you will remember this pair who came to see me each morning and for whom I bought duck food. Well I still had some in the cupboard and when I called them because they had gone round to the back garden, they came running over but funnily enough didn't eat the food. Anyway, Mrs Quacker had a drink out of the big plant pot saucer which is still sitting on the paving outside the front door which has been kept topped up with all this rain. I've got yet another cold so I'm feeling a bit fed up but when you look in my Even More folder you will see why I'm even more fed up as the day has gone on
Good to see them back. You don't suppose the duck food has gone stale do you? Having said that, our local ducks are very wary when people feed them bread in their pond. I reckon that someone has been up to mischief.
@steampowered The duck food has been in a container with a snap on lid so I think it should be OK and I did buy this at the end of the season from when they were visiting. I think they were just exploring so hopefully they will be back tomorrow
