This was actually taken a couple of days ago I think but I thought I would post it anyway. We have been busy raking leaves yet again! When will they ever stop falling?!!!!! This is a female great tit as they have a thinner stripe down their breast than the males.
It's back to work tomorrow and in a way I shall be glad that Black Friday has finished as it has caused all sorts of problems - what with the traffic and my washing machine finally died yesterday after leaving horrible black marks on my towels and failing to empty. I had to order another one and of course Paypal was a no go as there had been so many transactions. My first credit card also failed as the company suspected it was being fraudulently used and I've got to contact them tomorrow. Thankfully, my other card worked and after checking with John Lewis, everything is OK as I began to wonder whether I had been scammed again! Modern technology!!! I missed my delivery spot for 2 days time and so won't get the new one until 9 December but at least I've been able to book a 2 hour slot at a cost of course!
Nothing is simple anymore, is it? Such a tale of the washing machine - so typical these days. But it's good you can see hope in the future. Do like your shot - what a pretty bird.
