I dread it when Steve goes to see his mate who owns a scrapyard as he always comes back with more scrap than he took! However, I must admit I quite like this object but can't remember what it is. Can anyone enlighten me? Steve always says that it will come in useful even if he never uses it! LOL

It is an armillary sundial - when it is curved like this. It is on my wish lish for my garden (and has been for years)!
