This is a plant that my good friend Pam @pamknowler bought for me last year after my eye operation. It is still going strong and is planted in my rockery. The flowers are coming out nicely and look lovely in the sunshine. I just can't remember what it's called. After the kind people on 365, I now know that it's Mimosa.
It’s a Mimosa Rosie. Just checked in my garden encyclopaedia to confirm it. So pleased it’s still going strong. Must get one for myself! I might be able to keep it!
Just checked and Acacia Mimosa and Albezia names all seem to come up with the same family ... perhaps Acacia is more Southern Hemisphere.. Some forms are like weeds and are pulling them out of the garden all the time as the birds must feast on the seeds..
Sorry, just read everyone's comments ... I was a bit late to the Mimosa party. Pretty sure that's what it is though ... you see a lot of it here in France.
