Oh Richard, how perfectly beautiful! Those are wonderful pictures! Actually, really exceptional! You all have surprised me beyond measure today! I can't believe what Autumn set in motion and that you all joined in! I had no idea I had so many friends!!! Thank you for being part of the circle...I've always had a soft spot for you, one of our circle of Senior Citizens! I did look them up and learnt a new word- 'precocial'- they are my kind of birds being 'born with running shoes on' ! But what a handful for their poor mum no wonder she's had to get creative in the name of protection. Which makes the picture all the more suited to our Louise- creative, protective, on the go and full of life- just perfect Richard.
