Open House London takes place on a weekend in September every year. It enables members of the public to visit buildings of architectural interest that would not ordinarily be accessible. This year I visited Baitul Futuh Mosque in Morden, which is one of Western Europe's largest mosques. It is a fascinating building, on the site of a former dairy (one of the minarets is a former chimney from the factory)!
