Commonwealth Air Forces Memorial

The Commonwealth Air Forces Memorial in Runnymede commemorates the members of the Allied Air Forces who lost their lives in World War II and have no known resting place. The names of 20,456 men and women are inscribed on stone panels. It is a beautiful and moving memorial to the allied forces, and is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission:
