In 2019, the artist Lothar Götz transformed the Towner Art Gallery in Eastbourne with his mural 'Dance diagonal'.

The gallery currently has an exhibition of paintings by John Nash, who was an official war artist during the First and Second World Wars. It's a wonderful retrospective and includes works by some of his contemporaries.
