See that teeny tiny white building, that's Angel's Trumpet. One of the best places to get a flight of beer in town. They have 30+ taps and are constantly rotating. My wife and I play a game where we split a flight of 6 beers and see who chose the best beers in a head to head tasting.
Oh, what's that black monstrosity imposing on Angel's Trumpet? A tower of obscenely overpriced apartments being built that no one can afford, but somehow tons of people will still live there!

Overpriced apartments, son managed such a place and knew of one place that was owned by some exec, and only used the place once a year when he/she flew into town for a week. The rest of the time it sat empty. I'm still working on my first million, but having a high price apartment is not the way to get there.

I hate high rise apartments. We have had lots appear in Nelson Bay in recent years and most are owned by people who live in Sydney and use them for holiday accommodation. Most of the time they just sit empty. Some people must have more money than sense.
It looks like the Angel's Trumpet is joined to the new high rise building? Hope it doesn't loose it's charm because of the new building so close. Would love to see a progress shot as the new building progresses....
