Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
This is stunning B&W processing...such rich and varied tonality...perfect fav!
(Do you still do the layered processing changing the hue in PSE? I have started experimenting with Lightroom...still coming to terms with the B&W conversion, but my Blue Wildebeest picture of a couple of days ago was converted in Lightroom)
@ericdibosco I have been using Silver FX. I haven't tried Lightroom's B&W conversion yet, still trying to come to grips with the most basic edits! One day I shall sit down and do some of their tutorials!
@salza What I am doing in Lightroom is actually very simple: In the Develop mode, you choose B&W in Basic tab, then go to your HSL/Color/B&W tab where you will find sliders for each colour. Adjust the sliders for each colour in both directions to see it's effect and stop where it highlights best what you want to highlight (or supress enough) until you are satisfied (take note of the position of each slider before you start to take it back to it's original position if you don't like the effect it gives or if it has no effect). Finally, adjust your exposure, contrast and sharpness.
