For the Hang It All challenge. This weeks theme is - What kind of photos would you hang in your living room (over the fireplace or that comfy couch)?
Since we have loads of pictures of all our furry friends adorning our walls I'm adding this picture of Kaela. The other two will feature sometime during the week no doubt!
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
Beautiful as always. Our GSD, Lesia is now having to wear boots on her back paws as she is wearing her nails away. She has that neurological disorder where the nerves between paws and brain don't talk to each other so she drags her back feet. There's no cure but let's hope it progresses slowly. She is 11 years old now so on borrowed time. It's very sad when our pets become old and leave us. Having said that, Kaela has most of her life in front of her so treasure your time with her while she's young and healthy.
@shepherdmanswife Chantal sorry to hear that Lesia is suffering so. Everyday when spend with them is precious. Kaela is occasionally showing some signs of being stiff in her one hind leg. She may have some arthritic changes, we haven't had her xrayed yet. I have started giving her coconut oil and some anti arthritis homeopathic meds. She is only just 5 so we need to keep a close eye on her. Although I have had a large male who was diagnosed at 18 months with hip dysplasia and he coped very well on the homeopathic meds, we lost him to cancer.
You sure have an adorable subject there! Ok, I see lots of animal portraits in your project, but no many people (at least in past months.) My challenge for you is a portrait either in high-key, low-key, or using only window light for lighting. If you have a prob finding subjects, a selfie counts :-)
@ericdibosco mmm, looks can be deceiving! She can be a tad overprotective toward me. She is fine with other dogs but I do have to be careful when strangers come to the house.
@m9f9l I don't really know why but I am never comfortable taking pictures of people, whether I know them or not. I also do not like having my picture taken. I have done a few selfies over the years but again it's not something that I am comfortable with.
