@annied interestingly the original photo I wanted to use didn't really work. This is something that I have wanted to fiddle with for a while. Saw a really cool one done by Mike Gifford @mikegifford recently so decided to give it a go!

looks great! that rhino won't come to my living room, would it? i've wanted to do this, too, for quite a while but i have no patience or time to really sit down and do it. awesome work, sally!

@summerfield Vikki it didn't take very long at all. I found a really simple YouTube tutorial and followed it. I shall post the link.

@annied Annie I think you need something that is on an angle rather than full on or side on, the later two just don't seem to pop out.

That's so clever and very different! I was going to tell you how much I loved your beautiful reflective tree, but I started seeing all the other goodies on your palette! I see your reply to Eric and I agree, in that I might like some coloration or off beat texture where there's so much gray...but baby steps first and an A+ for a perfect presentation!
