Yes, this is another dragon I captured which forms part of a large carnival float. The floats are pulled along the narrow roads of Valletta by a tractor for better manouvering. A whole team of helpers – mostly the gang that made and decorated the float – assist the driver along the way.
After a night of continuous rain, yesterday the sun came out and as we had Max to look after we took him and Michaela to Valletta in the morning to watch the Children’s carnival parade. I didn’t take the camera with me in order to be able to look after Max better – I was afraid he might get lost in the crowd. Regretted it later because there were a lot of children dressed in splendid carnival costumes.

Great capture! As I see your shots I am so mad that I missed out on it all, I'd have loved to pick up some of those colourful shots....but football won the weekend for me - can't have it all I guess
