I was rather amused at all the mentions of Blue Monday on the media etc today and all I could think of was the lovely blue weekend we had for my Birthday.
The sea view at the bottom was the view from our Hotel Room and above our glasses of Gin and Tonic before lunch, my lovely birthday gift - a Sheila Fleet pendant which matches the earrings Allan gave me at Christmas - complete with blue ribbon, and our fish dishes which were so tasty!
Baked fillet of sea trout with tomato & herb couscous and fennel and radish salad
and
Pan seared fillet of coley, crushed new potatoes with asparagus and coriander & lime butter.
Still smiling after such a lovely time!
Lovely - so pleased you had such a lovely birthday weekend. I find it odd that supposedly it was Blue Monday. I had a far more rotten day on Saturday LOL!!!
