On Friday evening after a while with my 'Mac siblings' we went back to stay with Mum's lovely neighbour across the road for a second night before heading home. She was over seeing Mum almost every day for 40 years and is going to miss her so much.
But she lit her fire in her good sitting room and had a feast of lovely biscuits, cheeses, fruit , chocolate and lovely things to drink. We were so glad to stay with her and not have her home alone that night! Much storytelling of course.
Three good things
1. So easy to keep in touch even from a distance.
2. Logs on a fire.
3. Airbnb facilities from a friend were just perfect.
