Inverurie Academy is no longer what it was when our older three children were at secondary school! I hadn't been near the campus until yesterday when walking with my friend. The new buildings, including community facilities for swimming etc, opened a year ago and now the demolition of the old buildings is well underway. I didn't 'feel' much as we stopped and stared but my friend certainly did as she had been a pupil there in the late seventies.
Three good things
1. A lot of cleaning catch up!
2. Allan finished the grass cutting and I dug out a rather boring Clematis, a clump of Crocosmia and replaced it with a rose bush......hopefully it will survive.
3. A long hot bath, I was rather achey after all the gardening, and Scallops for tea....quite a treat.
