The weather has been so lovely lately, I've had the windows open - and so in came the first wasp of the year. After buzzing around for most of the day, it then obligingly had a bit of a meander around my table-top and posed for a couple of photos, before I did the glass+card thing and shooed it out of the window!
@dulciknit@kidatheart@phil_howcroft Thanks - it was really fascinating to see it in close-up like this. I knew bumble bees were fuzzy but didn't know wasps were!
Just helped a massive Bumble Bee out with a rake!
