Canal boat on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal

I caught the train to Wigan today with a friend, and we walked 6 miles along the towpath of the Leeds-Liverpool canal to Appley Bridge, then caught the train back to Manchester from there. It was a beautifully sunny & hot day.

So, yes. yet another black-and-white-with-selective-colour shot! Only one more day of the July b&w theme, so perhaps I'll ease off the b&w/sc shots after tomorrow! I wasn't entirely sure with this whether I should have left it with all its original colours.

@daveanajao Thanks. My camera does have a basic selective colour setting, where it will make everything monochrome except everything of a certain colour. I do my selective colouring using Picnik. I'm a bit hooked on doing selective colour at the moment LOL
