@loopy12 Thank you, I tried various different angles .. bit cross with myself for having to crop the l/hand bit of peel off, to keep the background clear .. by the time I'd realised, I'd already eaten the banana!

It's a great banana shot, with nice DOF and good detail.
The upright view works well to emphasise the textures.
Hey, there you go ...no bad puns or Viz moments when describing your banana ! ! ... I was tempted though ....to do a pun ....but the banana deserves respect as a super shot.
Do you have any idea how teasing this is to us in Australia. We had cyclones here beginning of 2011 and all year the price of bananas have been through the roof. Only the rich get to eat them now - and that aint me! Great shot.
