It was too hard to pick one photo today! While all instruments are beautiful in their own way, a French horn has so many twists and turns and curves that it makes for really interesting details to photograph - especially when it's played by one of my favorite people!
I remember sitting in beginner band, tracing the curves and looking at my strange reflection in the curve of the bell. And now my oldest daughter is doing the same - only I think she must spend less time admiring the horn and more time practicing, because she plays better than I ever did at her age!
