I risked life, limb and naptime to get this photo: blanket with sleeping toddler included for scale.
I think it will work for one of the kit photos - there are other shots that show the whole blanket and close-up shots of the texture. Kind of makes me wish I were napping, too!
(Seriously, what kind of crazy mother moves a crib with a sleeping child in it to get better lighting for pictures? Naptime is sacred around here!)
Wonderful! This blanket looks like it's just a straight knit throughout, Right? I love the different shades of blue you used. Some of the yarn looks variegated. What are the measurements of it? I looks so o"boy". Really a cute photo with your little guy dressed in blues too. It was worth the major risk...... I know that feeling too. One of our kids NEVER slept as a baby..... When she finally did, the rest of us tiptoes around the house in bare feet. lol.
Sarah - You've done a wonderful job...well worth the risk, I'd say. Children look so angelic when asleep - and this is just a wonderful photo! Well done.
@aglennc It is a fairly simple garter stitch blanket, but it involves a few different colors of yarn, some variegated, some striping, held double in various combinations. I don't actually have the details because I didn't knit them, I just get to take the photos. :)
Oh, you mentioned knitting socks. I knit a dozen or so pair for my boyfriend, now husband, when we were in high school. See my photo: http://365project.org/aglennc/365/2014-09-10 Either my husband or I made up most of the patterns I used.
