I took a ton of photos today, because I figured out how to hook my phone and camera together and set it up to take pictures every few seconds for some number of photos in a row. This is really fun and will hopefully generate more natural family photos than the "set the timer and run to try to get in the picture before it goes off" method.
However, most of my test photos were terrible. (It doesn't help that fully half of them were of my coffee mug. Why?) Fortunately, at one point my husband picked up the camera and took some photos (my lament the night before about how it looks like our children have no mother since I'm never in photos must have been effective) and caught this shot of Anna and I showing Matthew how to use Anna's LeapPad. I love how intensely he's concentrating. :)
Converted to black & white to disguise a few errant strands of gray hair. (Well, actually, because there's a gray broom on the floor behind us that's really distracting against the honey colored floor, less so in black & white. The gray is well earned and doesn't bother me.)
