This is not the most technically great photo - it was full dark with just the overhead lighting outside the ice cream parlor, and I'm not sure if that purple hair is the result of the lights or an artifact of using ISO 6400 to avoid flash.
But my little guy had his first ice cream in a cone tonight!
He was so adorable with it that the entire table of teenage boys next to us were awww-ing over the cuteness. :)
Very cute. I'll never forget the first time each of our kids had their first ice cream cone. There was more on the child face and clothing than in his/her mouth, I'm sure. But it was good for a laugh for us.....
@aglennc He was actually pretty neat with it! It was a cool enough evening that it didn't melt very quickly. I'm sure we'll have ice cream covered days this summer!
great concentration! I had to smile - I don't think I've ever gotten a picture of my kids with an ice-cream that hasn't yet melted everywhere making them all just sticky and not really photogenic! So, great from that perspective too!
