When we had the area around our pool landscaped a few years ago, they put in two lilac trees. They bloom a little later than lilac bushes, and they have smaller individual blossoms, but they smell just as heavenly!
It was quite shaded out back when I took this, so I played a bit with split toning in Lightroom to bring back the rich color of these blooms. :)
gorgeous. its unny, i always feel like the crowd gives more of a response to pics of the littles, but i always love to see macros of flowers. (and sorry for the lower case, i have a baby on my chest and this is just easier ;) )
