Anna's class is putting on a circus show along with two other classes this week. I took a bunch of dramatic low-light shots while they were all getting their makeup put on, but I'm too chicken to post photos of kids who are not mine. Luckily I took one or two of my own kid. ;)
Dramatic low-light shots were courtesy of the fact that they had the classroom lights off and most of the windows blocked with poster board. Why? No clue. But I'm glad that I learned not to be terrified of high ISO speeds earlier this year!
Now I need to figure out where I went wrong in metering the on-stage photos so I can take better ones tomorrow!
@samzee Yes, I was really tempted, there was an awesome shot of a girl with absolutely fabulous lion makeup and blue, blue eyes, but I kept coming back to the thought that if I found a portrait of my child (even unidentified) on a photography site without having been at least given a heads up, I'd be kind of upset. I took all those photos to give to the teacher for the end of year slideshow. They'll be seen then. :)
