Future Hand Model?

I had planned to take a break from test knitting for a bit, but then these cute cabled mitts came up in the request list and, well, I fell hard.

I love the twists and turns of braided cables, and in this bright magenta wool, they'll be a cheerful addition to Carolyn's cool weather gear.
