Potions, spells, wands and cake. What more does a party need, really? Despite a few of the guests being unfamiliar with the world of Harry Potter, everyone seemed to have a really good time - and maybe those kids will be inspired to go read the first book!
Most importantly, the birthday girl was happy with her party. I imagine this will be the last "big" party she'll have for a while - maybe we'll do a sweet 16? - as I think she and all her friends are entering the age of having a few friends over for a movie and a sleepover instead of a party.
Now that I have a few weeks to breathe before I have to start thinking about the holidays, I'm hoping I can get caught up here! Thank you to all who have commented and suffered through all my party prep and kid costume photos! :)
