Well, I Voted.

I don't know how the results will work out, and I'm terrified they won't go in the direction that I'd prefer, but I exercised my right to vote.

And now I'm about to start on my second glass of wine as I watch the election results slowly trickle in...

@froggie0628 I finally went to bed when it became clear that staying up and drinking more wine was only going to make today more awful than it needed to be. To say that the election didn't turn out the way I'd hoped is a bit of an understatement. :(

I had prosecco which I wanted to drink throughout. When it started going his way, I couldn't stomach anything... I was really hoping to use that prosecco for celebration in the end but... :( What a tragic time.

We became permanent absentee voters when we moved here 13 years ago because we are away so much of the time. So we voted and mailed in our ballots two weeks ago.
