This boy wanted to play in the snow before school so badly this morning that he got himself dressed from head to toe all by himself, found his boots and his hat and gloves, and just needed help getting his coat and snow pants down from the closet.
How could I say no to that kind of effort?
We did get ice, but not much, and then it turned to snow. All the branches are coated in a thin layer of ice, though. A little more and we would have had downed trees and power lines.
