Eldest's stocking - store bought, meant to be temporary - is now a dozen years old, and the glued-on buttons are falling off.
The question is: repair this one, or make her (and the other two) new ones before next Christmas? (The answer is probably that it will go back in the box of decorations, and I will forget until it's too late to do anything but hang this one back up. Someone remind me sometime in March?)
